Brian Landis Folkins has been an Artistic Company member since 2012. He was last seen in The Happiest Song Plays Last (Lefty). Other Curious shows include, DUST, a collaboration between Wonderbound and Curious (CW), and on the Curious stage in Detroit, (Kenny), Astronomical Sunset (Jim) and Up (Philippe Petit). Brian performed in New Stage’s Baby Doll (Archie Lee). The Edge Theatre’s A Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Brick), Cock (M) and Buried Child (Bradley). At Off Square he’s performed in The Cherry Orchard (Yepikhodov) and Crime and Punishment (Raskolnikov). He was seen in Backstage Theatre’s The 10th (Sgt. Toomy), at OpenStage Theatre’s Bug (Peter), The Catamounts’ Messenger #1 (M #1) and finally in BETC’s Mauratius (Dennis). He also starred in A Streetcar Named Desire (Stanley) for the Tennessee Williams Festival in Mr. Williams’ birth town of Columbus, Mississippi. Brian also travelled to Ireland, where he played both parts in rotation in The Zoo Story. Brian has been in over 100 short & feature films most recently, Hoax which was shot in Lake City, CO and is currently doing Motion Capture and Voice Over for a Video Game. He has taught acting and juggling at the DCPA for the last 20 years.
