What tier am I in?
This season, we’ve also made a change to how seating is structured. We’ve moved from two sections—Premium and Standard—to three pricing tiers.
This shift gives us more flexibility in how the room is used, and creates more opportunities for people to find a seat that feels right for them. It also helps us bring more people into areas of the theatre that are often left empty—so the experience of being in the room together feels fuller, more connected, and more alive.
Check this chart to the left to see where your seats are. And if you have any questions, please reach out to the box office at 303-623-0524.
What are my Subscriber or Membership Benefits?
You can find out more about your subscriber and membership benefits here.
What is the difference between Subscriber and Member?
Both subscriptions and Flex Memberships offer great savings and exclusive benefits. The biggest difference is how you attend.
Subscribers reserve the same seat for every production in the season. It’s the perfect option if you love having a consistent theatre experience and want the peace of mind of knowing your seats are waiting for you all season long.
Flex Members receive a bundle of tickets that can be used however they like throughout the season. Attend all four productions yourself, bring friends to a favorite show, or mix and match your tickets across performances. Flex Memberships offer the most flexibility while still providing member benefits like discounted companion tickets, presale access, and exclusive perks.
Whether you prefer the tradition of a reserved seat or the freedom to choose as you go, both options are a great way to experience everything Curious has to offer.
How do I renew my subscription online?
Yes! If you have a Flex Membership or CTRL+ALT+Curiosity Membership, you just need to purchase a new one, and you can do that here.
If you have a Fixed Subscription, you must first log in to your account using the “My Account” button at the top of the page. Once you are in your logged-in state, you will see a menu including “Fixed Subscriptions.” Click the button, and you will see the seats we are currently holding on your account. Click “Buy Subscriptions” and follow the prompts to the checkout. Pay, and you should receive a confirmation email shortly.
How do I set my flex tickets?
See our blog for an in depth look at how to set your flex tickets.
What are the plays for this season?
You can find the most updated list of our plays here.
How do I know what my subscriber seats are?
Wondering where you’re sitting this season? It’s easy to find your seat assignments. Simply log in to your Curious account to view your upcoming performances and reserved seats at any time.
Before the season begins, we’ll also mail you a Subscriber Passport with all of your performance dates and seat locations in one convenient place. The passport is for your reference only, so there’s no need to bring it with you to the theatre. About one week before each performance, you’ll receive your digital tickets by email, which you can use for entry on the day of the show.
What communications do I get?
Email is the primary way we communicate with our subscribers, so we recommend keeping an eye on your inbox and making sure emails from Curious don’t end up in your spam folder. While you’ll also find important updates and helpful resources on our blog, email is where you’ll receive timely reminders and everything you need for each production.
As a subscriber, you can expect:
- A monthly subscriber newsletter with updates, announcements, and behind-the-scenes news.
- A reminder email six weeks before each production opens with important information and any updates.
- Another reminder four weeks before opening as your performance gets closer.
- Your digital tickets one week before your performance, delivered straight to your inbox.
- A Know Before You Go email three days before your performance with parking, arrival information, and everything you need for a smooth visit.
Whenever possible, we’ll combine reminder emails with your monthly subscriber newsletter to help keep your inbox a little tidier. If there’s important information to share, you’ll receive it in the format that makes the most sense, but we always try to strike a balance between keeping you informed and avoiding unnecessary emails.
If your email address changes or you’re not receiving these messages, please let our Patron Services team know so we can make sure you don’t miss a thing.
If you’re not a subscriber, you’ll still hear from us throughout the season. Our general email list receives regular newsletters featuring theatre news, upcoming events, behind-the-scenes stories, and opportunities to engage with Curious. You’ll also receive occasional sales and special offers, including ticket discounts, promotions, and announcements about upcoming productions. You can unsubscribe or update your email preferences at any time.
How did I get on the newsletter?
You can sign up for our newsletter here.
What are the fees and what is it used for?
We’ve included a small processing fee on single tickets over the past few seasons. It helps us cover the cost of our ticketing system and the fees that come with processing payments.
Thank you for your understanding—and for continuing to support the work in ways both seen and unseen.
What is happening with the 1080 Acoma Street?
You can keep up with building updates on our blog.
Why are you at Cleo Parker Robinson Dance?
As 1080 Acoma undergoes an exciting renovation, Curious Theatre Company is spending Season 29 in residence at Cleo Parker Robinson Dance in Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood.
This temporary move allows us to continue producing the bold, contemporary theatre you love while our home is transformed for the future. We’re incredibly grateful to Cleo Parker Robinson Dance for welcoming us into their space, and we’re excited for the opportunity to share this season with an organization that has such a profound legacy of artistic excellence and community impact.
While the venue may be different, everything that makes Curious, Curious remains the same: daring stories, exceptional artists, and the conversations that bring us together. We look forward to welcoming you to our home away from home this season.
What discounts do you offer?

It’s my first time, what do I do?
We have a first-time visitors guide here.
Do I need to print my tickets?
Nope! There’s no need to print your tickets. About one week before your performance, we’ll email your digital tickets directly to the email address associated with your account. Simply pull them up on your smartphone when you arrive, or save them to your Apple or Google Wallet for easy access.
When you arrive at the theatre, we still ask that you stop by the Box Office to check in before heading to your seats. Our team will make sure you’re all set and can assist with any last-minute questions or ticketing needs.
Where are my tickets?
Your tickets are delivered digitally, so there’s no need to print anything before you arrive. About one week before your performance, we’ll send your e-tickets to the email address associated with your account. You can simply open them on your smartphone or save them to your Apple or Google Wallet for easy access.
If you can’t find your tickets, don’t worry! You can also log into your Curious account to access your upcoming performances, or our Box Office team will be happy to assist you when you arrive.
Even if you already have your e-tickets, we ask that all patrons check in with the Box Office upon arrival so we can welcome you and make sure everything is ready for your visit.
Do you offer refunds?
All ticket sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on single-ticket purchases.
If you’re a subscriber, however, we’re happy to help if your plans change. Subscribers may exchange their tickets for another performance of the same production, subject to availability and our exchange policy. We recommend making exchange requests as early as possible so we have the best chance of finding seats that work for you.
If you have questions about your tickets or need to request an exchange, please contact our Box Office and we’ll be glad to help.
What time do doors open?
We open doors one hour before the show, and the house opens 30 minutes before the show.
When do I need to be there?
We recommend arriving 30–45 minutes before your performance.
Where do I park?
There is quite a bit of street parking surrounding the Historic Shorter AME Church building. You are also able to park in the Safeway Parking lot across Washington Street. We will be providing parking passes as we always have both by email and in person when you arrive.
What is the late seating policy?
Out of consideration for the performers and fellow patrons, late seating after the first 15 minutes of the performance is subject to the House Manager’s discretion and may not be possible, depending on the production.
Is there a dress code?
There’s no dress code—come as you are. We just ask that you wear shirts and shoes.
