Purpose
by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins | Directed by Jada Suzanne Dixon
Previews: April 29 – 30, 2027
May 1 – 30, 2027
Regional Premiere
The influential Jasper family has spent decades building a legacy of leadership, public service, and social impact. When family members gather for a long-awaited reunion, old tensions, hidden truths, and competing visions for the future begin to emerge.
As private struggles collide with public expectations, each member of the family must confront questions about responsibility, identity, and the weight of the roles they've inherited.
Funny, searching, and emotionally rich, Purpose examines what happens when family history shapes the future and asks what we owe to the people who came before us, and to ourselves.
(The playbill will be posted at leaset one day before previews.)

Ideal for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. A judgement-free zone where many of the audience “rules” are relaxed. We may leave the house lights up at just a pinch through the performance or if you feel you need to leave the performance for any reason, you may. Most of our patrons will not notice very much difference — if at all — in their experience. No reservations are required.
