Karen Slack (Brandy) has appeared in several Curious productions including: Eurydice (Denver Post Best Drama), 9 Parts of Desire (Denver Post Best Season by an Actress), Homebody/Kabul (Denver Post Best Supporting Actress), God of Carnage (Westword Best Comedy) and many others. Other favorite roles include: William Dunn in Men On Boats (Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Award Nominee) with The Catamounts, Medea in Medea (Westword Best Actress in a Drama) with The Edge Theatre, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and Listen Productions (Denver Post Best Ensemble), Frida Kahlo in Painted Bread (Denver Post Best Actress in a Drama, Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Award for Best Actress) with Theatre on Broadway and The Aurora Fox, and the one woman show The Syringa Tree (Denver Post Best Solo Performance, and Best Remount) with various theatres throughout Colorado. Karen received her training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and HB Studio in New York.
