While our theatre at 1080 Acoma Street evolves, Curious Theatre Company is performing at the Historic Shorter AME Building, home of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance.

Know Before You go
Before You Arrive
- Arrival Time: We recommend arriving 30–45 minutes before your performance
- Box Office Opens: 60 minutes before curtain
- House Opens: 30 minutes before curtain
Give yourself time to park, find your seat, and settle in.
Parking
There is quite a bit of street parking surrounding the Historic Shorter AME Church building. You are also able to park in the Safeway Parking lot across Washington Street. We will be providing parking passes as we always have both by email and in person when you arrive.
Seating
We have additional accessible seating available in the center section. These seats are reserved to meet individual accessibility needs and will be assigned on a case-by-case basis.
Late Seating
Out of consideration for the performers and fellow patrons, late seating after the first 15 minutes of the performance is subject to the House Manager's discretion and may not be possible, depending on the production.
What Should I Wear?
There’s no dress code—come as you are. We just ask that you wear shirts and shoes.
Tickets
In Season 29 we are doing a slow introduction to e-tickets. Tickets will arrive in your email 7 days before your performance and can be stored in your Apple or Google wallet.
You do not need to print these tickets or even bring them to the venue this season. We will still be checking people in and ask that you still stop by the box office when you arrive for your performance.
Concessions
Come early, grab a treat, and settle in! Concessions will be available before the performance and at intermission, with a selection of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy.
We will not be selling alcohol at this time. We have been working diligently to move our liquor license and stay in accordance with the laws, but it's a slow process. We are still actively working towards this and hope to have alcohol available soon! We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you for a great night at the theatre.
Age Recommendations
Most Curious Theatre productions are recommended for audiences ages 14 and older, though attendance is ultimately at the discretion of a parent or guardian. Because each production is unique, recommended ages and content advisories vary by show. Final age recommendations and content advisories will be available on each production's webpage approximately one month before opening.

We are committed to making our theatre experience accessible to all.

During the Show
Please silence and dim your phone before the performance begins.
Please help us protect the artists and the work on stage by refraining from taking photos or recording video during the performance. Recording can distract the actors and may violate the licensing agreements that allow us to present this production. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Single tickets are non-refundable. Exchanges may be available at management’s discretion.
Subscribers can request exchanges through our online form.
Late Seating
Late seating is handled at the discretion of the House Manager and may be delayed until an appropriate break in the performance.
Content Advisories
Content advisories (including strobe lights, fog, or other effects) are posted on each show page approximately one month before opening.
Age Guidance
Most productions are best suited for ages 14+. Children under 6 are not permitted.
