Sean Scrutchins (Frank in Appropriate) is a teaching artist in Denver. He works as a theatre instructor for The Colorado Shakespeare Festival: Eduction Program, and The Denver Center for the Performing Arts. He received his MFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. Sean last appeared with Curious in Dust. Some previous acting roles include The Whipping Man, 9 Circles (Curious), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Troilus and Cressida, Cymbeline, Henry V (Colorado Shakespeare Festival), Tartuffe, Bus Stop, Waiting For Godot, Charlottes Web (Arvada Center), Artdog (Denver Children’s Theatre), and Seminar (Boulder Ensemble Theatre). He won the 2012 Henry Award for Best Actor for his work in 9 Circles and the 2014 Henry Award for Best Ensemble for his work in The Whipping Man.
