Building History
1080 Acoma Street is a historic church built in 1895, originally serving the Swedish Evangelical Free Church, later becoming the home of The Upper Room United Pentecostal Church through 1995.

The 1,000-square foot stage has a permanent Elizabethan-style second-level gallery. The space has been outfitted with a new grid structure to accommodate sophisticated lighting and sound instrumentation and a permanent film screen. The facility has an auditorium divided between an orchestra level and an open-style balcony, outfitted with 145 fixed and 70 flexible theatre seats.

Our rehearsal hall and reception room is named after Mamie Eisenhower, who is said to have attended church in the building when it was the Swedish Evangelical Free Church. Perfect for rehearsals, banquets, and meetings. Accommodates up to 100 people.

The Sanctuary
Our balcony-level bar and lounge is an intimate, beautiful lounge area that’s perfect for small receptions and community events.
