Erin Joy Swank

Erin Joy Swank (she/her) recently stage managed Past Your Bedtime, the first musical in The 24 Hour Plays Denver. It was also her return to Curious after a 15-year hiatus, having worked Home by Dark, Curse of the Starving Class, and Mall*Mart: The Musical. Local credits include Neon Lights with Jennifer Holliday and the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus, The Empire Strips Back, Eklund Opera’s Hänsel und Gretel, Opera Colorado’s Rigoletto, Theatreworks’ Little Shop of Horrors, Gaylord Rockies’ Cirque Dreams Holidaze, multiple concerts with Colorado Symphony, and a decade of Central City Opera’s year-round programming. Nationally, recent highlights include the historic revival of Douglas Moore’s Pulitzer-prize winning Giants in the Earth with South Dakota Symphony and Texas Ballet’s Nutcracker. As a volunteer, Erin is a Management Commissioner for the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT), Colorado rep for the Stage Managers’ Association, on several committees for Actors’ Equity, and also hosts a popular industry blog.
